K6 is one of the spectacular rock and ice-mixed peaks. It’s located in Charaksa (Saraksa) of Hushe valley. The base camp for this mountain has easy access which takes only 3 days from Skardu. K6 Peak Expedition would be the best option for those who have a limited schedule and found of ice climbing as well as a rock at a time.
K6 Peak well known as Baltistan Peak. It is a mountain in the Masherbrum range of the mighty Karakoram. It has 7,282 meters (25,659ft) high. K6 is ranked at 89th highest in the world and 40th highest mountain in Pakistan. It is core portion of the Masherbrum ranges of Mountains which also counts mountains such as Masherbrum, Chongolingsa and Baltoro Kangri etc.
K6 Peak lies in Hushe Valley, the District of Ghanche Khaplu Gilgit-Baltistan. The famous Baltoro Glacier host these beautiful peaks. This region is well known amongst mountaineers for the variety of ranges of high glaciers and snow covered peaks. K6 Peak is one of the tallest peak in the area surrounding the Charakusa Glacier near Hushe Valley.
