Darkot and Broghil Pass Trek Journey starts from Islamabad the Capital of Pakistan Drive up to Gilgit. Travelling on Karakorum Highway/Babusar Pass 4173m is a memorable event.
From Gilgit we Turn North Towards Historic Darkot Pass. This Pass was used by Korean General Ko Chen-Chi who came to Gilgit with Chinese Army from Central Asian States. After Darkot we will walk for a few days along the Wakhan Corridor with excursions of Broghil Pass on the Afghan Border. Then we will enter Chitral, two Days in Chitral with an excursion of Kalash Valley. From Chitral, We will enter the Swat Valley. The Trip will end in Islamabad the Capital of Pakistan. As our Jeeps take us deep into Valleys, we even leave the Jeeps to walk through the Mountains to feel their grandeur.

Drive to Naran 279 km via Mansehra, Naran-Jalkhand. After Lunch Continue Drive to Chilas 113.3 Km via Babusar Pass 4173m
Drive to Gilgit 3-4 Hrs 134 Km. Arrive and Transfer to Hotel, Afternoon Preparation of the Trek and Sightseeing of Gilgit City
Drive to Darkot Village 147 Km
Trek up to Rawat an Easy three hour Walk on jeep road to the summer village where people of Darkot live during the whole summer settlement with fields of Barley and Pease. The people are welcoming Camp 3600 m.
Trek to Darkot High Cam 3-4 Hrs
Trek to khani basa across the Darkot Pass it takes 4 hours from High camp to tyo the pass beginning is along the moraine ridge for one hour and then you get on the Daarkot Glacier a Steep ice to go up to the pass a vast glacier with magnificent views at 4575m pass mostly snow covered with hidden crevasses fixed rope is recommended until descending always try to keep the right to go down camp at 4100m on the lateral moraine.
Trek to Iskarwarz it is an easy walk Descending to the Village of Chikar Broghil is Small Village the Views of Broghi Pass to cross another one hour walk down to Iskarwarz a Grassy Village with small bushes with clear springs water at 3700m. A good Place for rest and a day hike to Broghil Pass
Trek to Khishma it is 5-6 Hrs smooth Walk down along the Broghil River to the Village of Kishmanja a small village with 7-8 House. There is beautiful campsite at 3400m
Trek from Lasht this 4-6 Hrs lovely Walk along the River Passing under willow trees
Trek and Drive to Mastuj, arrive and Transfer to Hotel.
Drive to Chitral 120 Km enroute stop at various views point for photography and refreshment. Arrive Chitral and transfer to hotel. After refreshment visit Chitral town
Drie to Swat 254 Km enroute stop at various views point for photography and refreshment.
Drive to Islamabad 230 Km enroute visit Taxila Museum and Historical Sites
Transfer to Islamabad Airport for Return Flight
